Get involved beyond the classroom
Fraternity and sorority life
Membership in an FSL organization offers opportunities to build leadership skills and pursue academic support — from study sessions to tutoring and workshops. FSL members currently make up about 17% of campus, across eight sororities and eleven fraternities. Chapters also raise significant funds for local and national charities each year.
Club sports and intramurals
Intramurals are organized recreational leagues and tournaments where UNH students play each other — one of the most popular ways to get involved and meet new people. Sport Clubs offer a wide range of competitive and recreational opportunities, whether you're into traditional team sports or something more niche.
Student governance
Student Governance is a collection of student body government organizations working together to enhance the UNH community, including the Student Senate — the official voice of the undergraduate student body — and the Student Activity Fee Committee. The Memorial Union Board of Governors has provided oversight and structural support for 200+ student organizations since 1968.
